About Us
St. James’ Lodge is a 44 bedded Nursing Home providing up-to-date specialist care to Residents who are Frail, Elderly and those with Dementia Care needs.
Within St. James’ there are two units on separate floors:
Ground Floor
20 bedded specialist Dementia Care unit with a selection of communal lounges and quiet areas including a Reminiscence Room.
First Floor
24 bedded General Nursing unit incorporating attractive lounge areas and a Residents personal kitchen.
All bedrooms within St. James’ are single rooms with en-suite "wet rooms" to enhance privacy, dignity and convenience for each Resident. Bath facilities are also available if preferred. Each bedroom has a direct line telephone and a TV point cable.
There is access to our courtyard area from the ground floor unit which all Residents are encouraged to avail of.
Our aim as care providers is to try to ensure that each Resident receives a package of care which meets their individual needs, wants and wishes.
